Legislative Stalemate Continues
March 22

Senator Rey Graulty, Chair of Hawaii's Senate Committee on the Judiciary, was on radio this morning saying that the committee members were not going to reconsider a constitutional ban on same-gender marriage [the committee voted 4-3 against such a ban about six weeks ago].  He made some reference to heavy lobbying by some churches for the amendment.

The legislative session ends in early May.
