Legislative Stalemate Continues

Senator Rey Graulty, Chair of Hawaii's Senate Committee on the Judiciary, was on radio this morning saying that the committee members
were not going to reconsider a constitutional ban on same-gender marriage [the committee voted 4-3 against such a ban about six weeks ago].
He made some reference to heavy lobbying by some churches for the amendment.
The legislative session ends in early May.
